An electric iron that has a chrome base and a black bakelite handle and a stand. At the back of the iron is the plug for the electrical cord. The handle is moulded for a right handed person.

On the stand at the back of the iron is etched "HOTPOINT". Underneath the stand is etched "CAT NO 6266 G7" A, UNDERNEATH IS "WATTS 575 VOLTS 240 " underneath is "PS 7" and underneath is "MADE IN AUSTRALIA"
