Electric Iron
c. 1930 - 1960An iron with a black wooden handle, a plug at the back of the iron and a thumb button at the front of the iron to the left of the handle. There is a detachable cord with is covered in black and white material, there is a black three point plug at one end and at the other is a flat rectangular plug with two holes which plug into the iron.

On one side of the plug which plugs into the iron is stamped "Hotpoint" and on the other is "E" and below this is "7 1/2 AMPS", and below this is "MAX" and underneath is "No 529".
