Electric Hair Rollers

Overview

A cream plastic base with a clear tinted lid. Inside the container are sixteen plastic rollers of various sizers on stands. Inside the container are wire pins to secure rollers to hair. White rollers with red dots, wire pins to secure rollers to hair.

Historical information

The item is an electrical hair roller heater. The item could be plugged into an electrical power point and it would heat the rollers. There is no control over the temperature of the rollers.

Inscriptions and markings

On the front of the clear lid on the left hand side is a red rose and underneath the rose in black lettering is "CARMEN".

In the centre of the lid on a white sticker are the words "NUTRI-METRICS CONSULTANT", underneath is "KAREN ANDERSON", underneath is "'Condeena Estate' Broomehill" and underneath is "W.A. 6318 Tel: (098) 241263". This label is also on the back of the bottom of container.

On the front of the lid on right hand side in white lettering is "SIXTEEN".
