c. 1962Black and white photograph. Early courtroom display in the Newcastle Gaol Museum, Toodyay.
A large black and white photo of a section of the Courtroom exhibition room in the Gaol Museum.
Central to the photo is a large wooden display cabinet that has a glass lid and a glass front. Difficult to see objects within. There are two male models; one dressed in Guards clothing and the other in prison clothes.
To the left sidewall, underneath which is a wooden bench, are three wooden framed display boards with picture and detail of early homesteads, settlers and buildings. The first frame is also displaying four wooden implements. Three lights are at ceiling level and the floor is stone. The guard is holding a gun in his right hand.
