This image was reproduced (in colour) in the 1965 Christmas card sent by the Honourable J.F. Craig MLA and Mrs. Craig.
James Frederick Craig was the Chief Secretary and Minister for Police and Traffic. It was captioned, 'A room within the Old Newcastle Gaol Regional Museum at Toodyay, containing exhibits depicting the way of life in the early pioneering days of the state.'
