1988 Seoul Olympics umpire's cap
The 1988 Seoul Olympics umpire's cap is made of white synthetic fabric and has words and symbols printed in black on the front of the crown. The symbols are the Seoul Olympics emblem featuring a samtaeguk pattern above the five Olympic rings. The samtaeguk is a traditional Korean pattern and visual image which represents Korea.

This cap was worn by Maurie Reynolds, Australian representative at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. It was donated to the Baseball WA Museum & Archives by fellow Western Australian umpire Ken Smith.
