Baseball scrapbook of the 1938 and 1948 Claxton Shield Series
This scrapbook contains memorabilia from the Claxton Shield baseball championships held in Perth, Western Australian in 1938 and 1948. It has a grey cardboard cover and contains many items, including a poster for the 1938 competition, numerous newspaper articles, photographs, telegrams, badges and other items relating to the two competitions.
Glen Dunstan represented Western Australia in the Claxton Shield baseball championships throughout the 1930s and 1940s, both as a player and a manager. He was the Western Australian team vice-captain in 1938 and captain in 1939, and team manager in 1947 and 1948.

Glen Dunstan's scrapbook contains memorabilia from 1938 and 1948 when Western Australia hosted the championships in Perth. It was donated to the Baseball WA Museum & Archives by the Dunstan family.
