1985 Australian Claxton Shield Championship medallions

Overview

Two 1985 Australian Claxton Shield Baseball Championship medallions. Made of gold-coloured metal, they are round-shaped and each is suspended on a blue nylon cord. On the obverse is embossed gold lettering and the enamelled ABF logo in green, white and black with gold outline. The logo consists of an outline of the Australian continent with the Southern Cross constellation, a stylized baseballer with bat, and the letters ABF. On the reverse, an embossed laurel wreath and lettering surround the year date, which is sealed in clear resin. The maker's name is stamped into the reverse on the bottom rim.
