Overview

This silver-gilt medal has the words 'Anniversary Medal' embossed above the crest of the City of Subiaco and 'March 1952-1977' below. On the obverse side the old crest of Subiaco Municipality again has the words 'Anniversary Medal' embossed above and the dates 'March 1897-1977' below the shield. This is therefore, a double commemoration (25 years and 80 years). A yellow and a maroon ribbon are passed through a loop on top of the medal and held together by a safety pin.
