PHOTOGRAPH: MRS ERNEST DONEGAN (LYNDA), PAST PRESIDENT, RED CROSS SOCIETY
c. 1935The black and white photograph shows Lynda Amy Kathleen Donegan (nee Innes), taken three-quarter face, head and shoulder view. Her hair is cropped short and waved. She wears a dark dress with lace inset around the neck and upper shoulders. Mrs Donegan lived at No. 63 Rupert Street, Subiaco from 1911 to 1972. She was president of the Red Cross Society during World War II. She was a committee member of the Subiaco Library together with Mrs Daglish. She was also active in the Subiaco Repertory Club prior to World War II. Her husband worked in the Post Master General's Department (today's Telecom) and ended up in charge of the automatic telephone exchange in Subiaco. On the back of the photograph are the words: '(Photo circa 1935). Mrs Ernest Donegan (Lynda) lived at 63 Rupert St, 1911-1972. (Mrs J. Bond (formerly Donegan) , 17 Hawkstone Rd, Roleystone, 6111.'
