MEDAL: ANNIVERSARY MEDAL, CITY OF SUBIACO

Overview

A silver coloured round medal with a small ring attached for the ribbon. The two pieces of ribbon are yellow and maroon. At the top of the ribbons is a brass safety pin. On one side of the medal, around the edge of the face, are the words 'Anniversary Medal, March 1897 - 1977'. In the middle of the face is the Subiaco crest with 'Subiaco Municipality' incorporated into the design. On the other side of the medal is 'Anniversary Medal, March 1952 - 1977' and a different, larger crest with the words 'City of Subiaco' incorporated into the design. The anniversary medal is for March 1897 when Subiaco became a Municipality and March 1952 when it became a city.
