South Australian Baseball League cap 1984/85
A South Australian Baseball League cap worn in the 1984/85 season. The front crown of the cap is red synthetic fabric, with an embroidered black and white piping shrike (the bird emblem of South Australia), surrounded by a yellow laurel wreath and the letters 'SA' above. The back of the crown is synthetic open mesh with a plastic adjustable band. The peak and top button of the cap are of blue synthetic fabric.
This South Australian cap was worn during the 1984/85 Claxton Shield Series games played in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, as part of the home and away series (Western Division). Competing states were the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia.
