A sepia photograph of intersection of two roads and the buildings along the right hand side of the street. There is a man walking along the side of the street, a couple of men further along the street and a horse and cart further in the background. The streets are dirt.

Historical information

A sepia postcard of Austral Terrace, Katanning and the intersection with Clive street. The picture is taken south along Austral Terrace just before and after the intersection. In the foreground is the original NAB building. After the intersection can be seen the Katanning Flour Mill, F & C PIESSE building, the the Katanning Hotel and then the King George Hostel.

On the back of the postcard printed in dark lettering is "POST CARD", and in the top right hand corner is a square to affix a stamp

On the back of the postcard handwritten in brown ink is "To Mary wishing you a happy New Year from D. Muir".

On the back of the postcard along the left vertical side in black typed lettering is "Printed in Saxony".
