On the right hand side is the CrownLands Agency and Agricultural Bank building. There are sulkies on the street, on the right hand side of the street is a man walking and a woman and child talking underneath the electricity pole.

On the front of the postcard at the centre bottom in white lettering is "Clive St., Katanning".
On the back of the postcard handwritten in black ink is "Wishing you the Compliments of the Season from an old Pal J.B.S".
On the back of the postcard printed in brown lettering is “POST CARD” and below this line the card has two columns and above the right hand column is the heading 'ADDRESS ONLY”. In the top right hand corner is a square with the words “AFFIX STAMP” inside to affix a stamp.
On the back of the postcard along the left hand vertical side of the postcard is “Printed in Saxony”.
