A sepia postcard of Austral Terrace, Katanning and the intersection with Clive street. The picture is taken south along Austral Terrace just before and after the intersection. In the foreground is the original NAB building. After the intersection can be seen the Katanning Flour Mill, F & C PIESSE building, the the Katanning Hotel and then the King George Hostel.

On the back of the postcard printed in dark lettering is "POST CARD", and in the top right hand corner is a square to affix a stamp. Underneath this heading are two columns, on the right hand side are lines. Along the left hand side is printed "Printed in Germany"
On the back of the postcard handwritten in black ink is "Dear Mrs W PG. The children arrived Lons Safely & the train was crowded. Stella hates Lons says there is no place like Albany but Ray is not so very fond of it - they both enjoyed themselves very much indeed. thanks ever so much for having them - Will write soon. Love to all R.N."
On the back of the postcard printed in black lettering is "POST CARD" and in the top right hand corner there is a place for a stamp. Along the left vertical side partially overwritten by the handwriting is "Printed in Saxony".
