A sepia photograph of the F & C Piesse Premier Roller Flour Mill with bull nosed verandas. To the left of the mill is the F & C Piesse two storey brick building. On the verandas of the mill are bags of grain and people. In front of the building is a man driving a horse and sulky.

Inscriptions and markings

Below the photograph in black typed lettering is "MILL CORNER, KATANNING W.A. PUBLISHED BY RICHARDSON & CO. m. 4544".

On the back of the postcard printed in black lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line are two columns with headings "CORRESPONDENCE" and "ADDRESS ONLY" and in the top right hand corner a square with the words "KODAK" at the top and bottom and the words 'AUSTRAL' on the sides. This square marks the position to put a stamp.
