Overview

This original black and white photograph shows a large group of people, mainly men, assembled on the lawn in front of the Kitchener Park Bowling clubhouse. The men are mostly wearing pale coloured trousers with shirts, ties and darker jackets. About have the men are wearing hats, and some are also are wearing braces. Some women and children can be seen in the background, the women are wearing wide brimmed hats and some carry parasols. On the ground in front of the group are a number of lawn bowls.
Behind the group, there is a large sign which reads 'KITCHENER PARK BOWLING CLUB'. Above this sign is a small clock, under which is written 'Founded 1908'. Above the clock is a pennant flag and the Union Jack hangs from the flagpole on the right of the building.
The photograph is mounted in a cream mount with a grey linear border.
