Overview

The black and white photo shows front view of single storey house with verandahs situated behind lawn with flowerbeds and several tall palm trees. The house was in the N.E. corner of the oval grounds, and two stands were already there. Mr. J. Martin occupied the house, since he was the Municipal Head Gardener and the house was near the municipal nurseries which were situated at this time behind the bowling club and tennis courts of Kitchener Park. The house was demolished in the fifties when the oval was extended. Museum holds original photo only
