PHOTOGRAPH (FRAMED): KITCHENER PARK BOWLING CLUB W.A. CENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONS 1929
1919Two black and white photographs in the same black wooden frame, one above the other.
a) Shows two rows of K.P.B.C. Members taken in front of their new clubhouse, the back row standing, the front seated. Members are mostly dressed in bowling whites, but 7 are in dark suits and waistcoats. A dog is partly visible in the front row (extreme right) and a stack of bowls lie at the centre in front.
b) Black and white photograph of K.P.B.C. Centennial pavilion. It is a weatherboard and corrugated iron roofed building with two louvred gables. There are several benches and the green in the foreground. The caption states that the Centennial Pavilion was offically opened by W. Sherlaw Esq. on the 1st November 1929. Kitchener Park Bowling Club closed in October 1993 after 85 years.
