Wedding of Mr Herb Buchholz and Anna Kowald
c. 1911A sepia photograph of a wedding party consisting three bridesmaids, two are sitting and one is standing, the groom is seated and the bride is standing next to him. Behind each of the bridesmaids are the groomsmen. The bridesmaids are all wearing long dresses, each is a different style, all of the women are carrying a bouquet of flowers and have a spring of flowers on their chests. The men are dressed in suits, vests and ties and each has a sprig of flowers in the top pocket of their jackets.
The reception was held at the Mechanics' Institute Café.

On the front of the photograph on the left hand side of the mount is "H.C. BILTOFT, IDEAL STUDION KATANNING," and below this is "PARIS PANEL, West Australia.".
On the back of the photograph handwritten in blue ink is "Wedding of Mr Mrs Herb. Buckoltz" and in the bottom left corner in black ink is "Willie".
