Ida Beeck died at 18 from cancer, she had her right arm amputated from the cancer.

Details
On the back of the postcard printed in black lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line are two columns with headings "CORRESPONDENCE" and "ADDRESS ONLY" and in the top right hand corner a square with the words "KODAK" at the top and bottom and the words “AUSTRAL” on the sides. This square marks the position to put a stamp.
On the back of the postcard handwritten in pencil is "Ida Beeck".
