At the bottom right hand corner of the photograph very faintly in gold lettering is "H.C. Biltoft, ? Katanning W.A.".
On the back of the photograph handwritten in blue ink is "Garrity wood for boiler of mill".
The Garrity Family were farmers North East of Katanning and carted wood to the Katanning Flour Mill for the steam driven boilers.
