Overview

This small mat has a linen centre and very fine Torchon bobbin lace edging 30 mm wide.
Using fine linen thread, there are no joins, indicating the edge was made as a whole.
Pattern is a square grid with lozenge shapes in centre and a pointed scalloped edge.
