LACE, BOBBIN, TORCHON, MATS
A delightful table setting of handmade Torchon bobbin lace from early 20th century belonged to the donor’s mother, possibly made in France where her parents were born.
The setting consists of one large circular table centre, five (5) place mats and five (5) coasters, each completely bobbin lace.
The design is a repetitive pattern of alternating daisies and rhombus shape surrounded by honeycomb reseau.
Delicate scalloped edge.
