Overview

Extremely fine piece of Irish crochet, displaying many different design motifs, including two unusual ones, bunches of grapes and chrysanthemum flowers.
The circular mat has 6 concentric circles with different designs: a tiered rose in the centre, circle of 10 small chrysanthemum flowers, circle with 3x3 alternating elements – bunch of grapes, crocus flowers and flat rose, a lattice band, circle of flowers alternating tiered rose and flat chrysanthemum, circle of circular flower motifs surrounded by circles and border of chrysanthemum flowers.
