Overview

Extremely fine hand embroidery, shadow work and drawn thread work as well as tiny, finest buttonhole edging.
In each corner a scroll design interspersed with assorted flowers. On the edge, a band 30mm wide, of the finest drawn thread embroidery.

Possibly from Switzerland, where the finest whitework was stitched in 20th century.
