Overview

This attractive Cluny bobbin lace mat worked in fine linen thread has different elements in the design.
Cluny is characterised by the radiating elongated wheat ears forming the petals of the flowers, and a divided trail of cloth stitch between motifs. Also frequently a scalloped edge and both twisted and plaited brides.
