Armadale Kelmscott Mobile Meals Inc ran a food delivery service in the Armadale-Kelmscott area from 1965 until 2016 when it came under the broader state Meals on Wheels network. In 2016 the food delivery service was taken over and run by the Rise Network.
Meals on Wheels started in Western Australia in the 1960s. Today the organisation delivers around 930,000 meals to about 10,000 clients in a year through Community Care Centres. The majority of clients who receive Meals on Wheels age aged between 50 and 99. Volunteers cook and deliver the food to the organisations clients.
The deposit book was issues by the Commonwealth Bank.

The deposit book was issues in the 2000s by the Commonwealth Bank to the Armadale Kelmscott Mobile Meals branch who had an account with the bank.
The Armadale Kelmscott Mobile Meals started in 1965 and was a part of the Meals on Wheels network where volunteers made and delivered meals to vulnerable members of the community. The passbook represents the role volunteers and community members play in caring for vulnerable members of the community.
