Historical information

On the 25th of March 2017 the Harrisdale Pavilion and Playing Fields were opened to the public in the developing suburb of Harrisdale in the COA. Harrisdale is one of the new and growing suburbs within the COA and requires new public infrastructure such as playing fields for the residents. The Harrisdale Pavilion was built and by and is managed by the City of Armadale.

Statement of significance

MEDIUM
The brochure was produced to commemorate the opening of the City of Armadale's Harrisdale Pavilion and playing fields on the 25th of March 2017. The brochure represents the growth of the City of Armadale and the creation of new residential suburbs such as Harrisdale and their need for community facilities such as the Harrisdale Pavilion and playing fields. Local sporting organisations that are made up of families from the community such as the ARKS Rugby Union Club and the Harrisdale Tee-Ball club utilise the facilities for club functions and sporting events.
