This collection of items was used at the Armadale Aquatic Centre. The Armadale Aquatic Centre was opened in December 1980 and was closed in 2017 to make way for the new Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre which was opened in 2019. There items were collected as they represent the important role played in the social life of the local community and what was involved for a local government in running a public pool.
