Coloured photo of Shire Council Chambers, taken from across the street, to the steps going up to the main entrance.
Roses are in bloom atop the garden wall either side of the first steps.
Above the three verandah arches there are the words, in white outline, Court House.
To the right of the front doorway arch in black print are the words Toodyay Shire Cou..(the rest is cut off).'

Photograph taken before additions were made to the eastern end of the building by Spadaccini Bros of Northam in 1985.
