Boyanup War Memorial unveiling
1920Sepia image depicting a crowd of people gathered around a stone memorial, at its original location in front of Boyanup Post Office.
The crowd shown is gathered for the unveiling of the war memorial in 1920. In 1947, members of the Boyanup RSL arranged to purchase land to create a Memorial Park which would be dedicated to service members of both wars. The memorial monument was moved to the new park in 1948.
