B/W Head and shoulders, studio portrait of a young woman. Her hair is swept back and softly waved and she is wearing a square-necked summer dress with a large white button. The print is mounted on red card, attached to textured cream card and protected by tissue embossed with a web pattern.

Historical information

Maida Winsome Sharkey was born in Claremont in December 1905 and was the daughter of Raymond and Edith Florence Sharkey of Wainomi, 3 Victoria Avenue. Maida married John Lefroy in 1932.
