JACK PLANE BLADE WEDGE
1926 - 1938Thin, rectangular piece of timber, the upper portion is flat and parallel then at approximately a third of its length tapers away to a wedge shape where the centre section has been relieved.The jack plane blade wedge holds the blade securely.
Tools used by Charles Duncan in his Blacksmith and Wheelright shop. The shop was called Duncan & McNamee and was located on the corner of Jull Street and Third Road. It was open from 1926-1938. The jack plane blade wedge holds the blade securely.
