Western Australian State Junior Baseball Cap

Overview

A Western Australian State junior baseball cap with black crown, visor and top button. The eyelets for ventilation are also black. Embroidered on the front of the crown, in yellow thread, are the letters 'W.A.'. Hand-written on the underside of the visor is the team member's number 23.

Historical information

The West Australian Junior Baseball League (WAJBL) was incorporated in 1963. Baseball WA (BWA) formally assumed the undertakings of the WAJBL as of 30 June 2000. Practical assumption of operations occurred as of 1 July 1999.

This Western Australian junior baseball State team cap belonged to Mark Pettit, who coached WA State Under 16 and Under 18 teams from 1990 to 2018 in various roles as Pitching Coach, Assistant Coach and Head Coach in six National Championships.
