1970 Japan - Australia Goodwill Baseball Series pennant. The shield-shaped pennant is made of dark blue felt material with a strip of fawn-coloured suede stitched across the top edge. The bottom edge is trimmed with gold tassel braid. Wording on the pennant is printed in white and reads 'Japan - Australia Good Will Baseball Series, Japan National Champion Daishowa Baseball Team 1970'. Background images on the pennant are printed in white and depict Mount Fuji with a baseball above it.

Manufacturer's gold-coloured paper sticker is stuck on the pennant and reads 'Made in Korea'.
This pennant was donated to the Baseball WA Museum & Archives by Ernie Mews, who represented Western Australia in state teams as both a player and coach throughout the 1960s.
