1982 Western Australian Under-13 State baseball team
A colour photograph of the 1982 West Australian Junior Baseball League (WAJBL) Under-13 State team. The team are wearing their playing uniform in the State colours. The playing top is yellow, with black bands around the edges of the sleeves, neck and waist, and is worn over a yellow undershirt. The pants are white; the black stirrups have yellow bands and the socks are white. The cap is black with a stylised yellow swan on the crown.
The photograph is presented in a wooden frame, painted gold.
The 1982 Australian Under-13 Baseball Championships were held in Brisbane, Queensland from January 9. The West Australian Junior Baseball League Under-13 State team were the series winners.

The winners of the 1982 Australian Under-13 Baseball Championships were the first Western Australian team to win a national under-13 series.
The photograph was donated to the Baseball WA Museum & Archives by the team's Assistant Coach Mel O'Hern.
This photograph depicts a national under-13 baseball championship-winning team; the first Western Australian team in that age-group to do so. Its provenance comes from Baseball WA Hall of Fame inductee Mel O'Hern.
