A sandy hill, trees boat shed and jetty in the background. On the rear written in ink [Judge Burnside/in dingy].
Mr Justice Burnside was Usher of the Black Road in first Western Australian Parliament in 1890, Crown Solicitor 1894, President of the Court of Arbitration from 1903-1910, Commodore of Royal Perth Yacht Club, founder member of Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club and Claremont Yacht Club. Inaugural member of Claremont Roads Board and owner of Genista, one of the largest yachts on the river.
