Sloping grassed area with stone retaining walls above trees and shrubs on foreshore. Yachts and launches in pens and on moorings. Claremont Jetty on left and above it Alan Bond's 2 storey home on massive limestone foundations. View extending around bay to Point Resolution.

Historical information

In March 1904, the Claremont Yacht Club held the first of its races, representing "gentile" members of Claremont Society. The old club house of Claremont Yacht Club was originally the private home of Alpin Thompson, before he built 'Lucknow' (now Bethesda Hospital).
