Group Including John And Maida Lefroy
c. 1935One man is standing and seven adults and two children, all in summer clothes, are seated on the edge of the verandah of what appears to be a weatherboard holiday house. A hessian blind partly encloses the end of the verandah and heaps of stones hide the stumps.

John Lefroy (1905-1998) was the son of William Gerald Lefroy and Ada Lefroy nee (nee Hamersley).
Maida Winsome Sharkey (1906-1997) was the daughter of Raymond John and Florence Edith Sharkey nee Ray.
John and Maida married in 1932. They lived at 16 Reserve Street, Claremont.

Raymond John Sharkey an architect, surveyor and amateur photographer was born in 1868 in New South Wales. Raymond was a Claremont resident when he died at an early age.
