Scotch College boat shed is to the south and there are yachts anchored in the bay. Written in the album in pencil is [Genesta].
Mr Justice Burnside was Usher of the Black Rod in first Western Australian Parliament in 1890, Crown Solicitor 1894, President of the Court of Arbitration from 1903-1910, Commodore of Royal Perth Yacht Club, founder member of Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club and Claremont Yacht Club. Inaugural member of Claremont Roads Board and owner of Genesta, one of the largest yachts on the river.
