GENERAL MEETINGS 2022

One General Meeting was held in 2022.

The proceedings of the Annual General Meeting conducted on 24th March included:

• Receipt of the reports from all the Board members. Mrs Sue Quiñones reflected on her time as President with the main negative the COVID 19 pandemic effects and the main positive the new membership model.
• The audited accounts for the past year were received. Mr Scott noted that the year’s result was another great one for the club.
• The Board positions for President, Vice President, Captain, and Vice Captain were elected unopposed.
• Members of Management Committees appointments were completed for House, Ladies and Membership and Marketing unopposed. No nominations were received for the Course, Finance and Match Committees.
• Ten Special Resolutions were considered, and all were carried with minimal discussion. The Resolutions were:
• Creation and Administration of Club Policies
• Future Development Plan repurposed as Strategic Plan
• Donation of Prizes to third parties
• Club Sponsorship
• Life Membership
• Line between Board, Committees and Management
• Definition of meaning for Ladies and Women
• Annual General Meetings Timings
• Definition of Fly-In Fly-Out Membership
• Appointment of Auditors
• General Business raised a few discussion points which were addressed by management.
