Overview

This glass framed collage of twenty black and white photographs celebrates the various activities and stages that occurred to create the Melville Glades Golf Club.

The photographs show the development of the golf course, working bee days, a course aerial view, the founding members and the opening day of golf featuring Mayor Ron Carroll teeing off.

The creation date of the collage is not known. However, it is likely that it was created in 1992 when the club celebrated its Silver (25th) Anniversary. That also a period when Laurie Palmer performed the role of club historian.
