Edith Jane Shaw was born Karridale. Her family arrived in South Australia 1836. Subsequently came to the Vasse by sea, and then by coach to Karridale. Owned and worked on Rose Hill Farm there. Married William Shaw on 26 Dec 1909 and moved to Claremont.
