Mayor Pat Morris throwing out first pitch at 2007 Claxton Shield Series
A framed, colour photograph of Mayor Pat Morris throwing out the first pitch at the 2007 Claxton Shield Series. The photograph is inscribed with a hand-written dedication to Pat Morris from Allan de San Miguel. Attached to the wooden, silver-painted frame is an engraved, rectangular plaque.
The 2007 Claxton Shield Series baseball championship was held between 19 and 28 January 2007 at the new Baseball Park, where the Mayor of the City of Gosnells, Mrs Pat Morris AM JP, threw the first pitch. As a Councillor and Mayor of the City of Gosnells, Pat Morris was involved with Baseball WA in the development of their new permanent home ground at Tom Bateman Reserve.

The photograph is dedicated to Pat Morris and signed by Allan de San Miguel, starting catcher for the Perth Heat baseball team. The photograph was donated to the Baseball WA Museum & Archives by Pat Morris.
