'Wainomi'
1928Path with flowers either side, leading to the back of the house with a corrugated iron water tank. From the corner post of the house a clothes line is stretched back beyond the tree. A wooden clothes prop is holding up the line. Part of the house extends to the right.
Wainomi 3 Victoria Avenue, Claremont was the home of Raymond John and Florence Edith Sharkey. Wainomi means 'Pearl Water' in Hawaiian.

Raymond John Sharkey an architect, surveyor and amateur photographer was born in 1868 in New South Wales. Raymond was a Claremont resident when he died at an early age.
