c. 1925A lad wearing a suit with short pants, shirt, tie and long socks, is standing with a box camera in his hands. Behind him is the rear verandah of a house with bush poles. The two storey section on the left is stone with a shingled roof to the verandah. The single storey weatherboard section on the right has large brick chimney, small paned window and corrugated iron roof without guttering.

Raymond John Sharkey an architect, surveyor and amateur photographer was born in 1868 in New South Wales. Raymond was a Claremont resident when he died at an early age.
