c. 1930A woman in a light, short-sleeved dress, hat and shoes, and holding a Japanese-style sunshade is perched on a rock close to the rocky foreshore of the river. In the background is a fence at the base of the steep bank covered in trees and shrubs. There are four boat sheds at the river's edge.
This may be the river below Devil's Elbow.
Identity of the woman is unknown.

Raymond John Sharkey an architect, surveyor and amateur photographer was born in 1868 in New South Wales. Raymond was a Claremont resident when he died at an early age.
