Overview

B/W prints. Three prints featuring the same young woman. (a) She is wearing a light -coloured dress with contrasting collar, cuffs and sash, dark stockings and lace up shoes. She is sitting at the top of a flight of steps. Behind her is the rear of a house with corrugated iron roof and bush pole verandah posts. In the background are trees and shrubs. (b) With dress tucked up, she is balancing on a log in the water. In one hand she is clutching several bulrushes. There are rushes, shrubs and trees on the sloping bank in the background. (c ) She has fallen, or is bending over harvesting bulrushes, in a dense clump of rushes.
