Overview

Horizontal cream postcard wiuth embossed image of three gold chiming bells surrounded by holly berries and leaves. 'NEW / YEAR / CHIMES' is written below in blue glitter paint and underlined with red squiggly glitter paint.

Reverse has the word 'POST CARD' in the top centre with a line below which cuts the card in half vertically. The left side is marked as the 'WRITING SPACE' while the right is for 'NAME AND ADDRESS' and has a rectangle in the rop corner for a stamp.

On the right-hand side, a handwritten cursive message reads 'To Dear Allen / with love from Papa / wishing you a / happy X mas'

There are some yellowed spots across the reverse surface.
